Training Specialist

Are you passionate about changing the world through education and training? Quest Cultural Solutions (QCS) is seeking a talented Training Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Training Specialist, you will develop and deliver innovative and inclusive lectures, seminars, and training programs that share knowledge, cultivate discussion, and prepare participants to build and apply skills across contexts.

QCS is hiring for multiple positions through this announcement.  Part-time, full-time, and temporary positions are available.  All positions are 100% remote.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a curriculum or training program that addresses client objectives effectively
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge and skills in different topics, disciplines and industries 
  • Establish program goals and course objectives to meet client and participant needs
  • Create lesson plans that describe how information will be presented and skills will be developed
  • Utilize teaching methods that challenge participants to achieve learning outcomes and grow
  • Integrate active-learning and culturally-responsive methods to virtual, in-person, and hybrid classrooms
  • Support synchronous and asynchronous instruction using best practices and emerging methods
  • Create inclusive classroom environments that promote inclusion and introduce balanced perspectives
  • Develop course materials including slides, handouts, websites, LMS sites, video materials, and other media
  • Create resources or syllabi that outline topics, timelines, and assignments
  • Deliver lectures and organize activities that share content and deepen understanding of topics
  • Identify, recruit, and support experts across disciplines and industries to serve as panelists and guest lecturers
  • Answer participants’ questions and provide support to help them succeed
  • Provide feedback that enhances participants' knowledge and growth
  • Write, administer, and grade examinations or assessments that measure participants’ mastery of skills
  • Monitor and report attendance and course completion
  • Work with instructional team to ensure continuity and consistency across instructors and courses
  • Submit curriculum feedback and implement recommendations to improve program and outcomes
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Master’s degree in education, social science, STEM, humanities, or a related field 
    • ​A bachelor's degree in these fields plus 5 years of experience can be substituted for the educational requirements
  • Proven experience in teaching, curriculum design, and/or executive training
  • Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply, particularly those with Spanish language skills (not required)
  • Passion for understanding diverse cultures and their impact on development and behavior
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with and ability to conduct remote work and telecommuting
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Suite 
  • Ability to travel in the U.S. and abroad on a limited basis
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident who resides in the United States

Reporting Lines 
  • The Training Specialist reports to the CEO and collaborates closely with the instructional team

Working Conditions, Schedule, & Hiring Requirements  
  • QCS is hiring for multiple positions through this announcement.  Part-time, full-time, and temporary employee positions are available.  
  • Domestic and international travel may be required on a limited basis.  
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • QCS is a 100% remote work organization.  All candidates must be prepared to meet QCS Employee Requirements. The selected candidate will be subject to a background check and federal e-verify.
