Inclusion

Inclusion at QCS

Difference is a fundamental part of the business community.  At QCS, we embrace difference as both a source of strength and a responsibility.  By considering inclusion in our work, we improve outcomes for our communities, our partners, our employees, and our company.

As an organization, QCS is part of an ecosystem of different cultures, perspectives, and experiences.  This ecosystem continuously changes, and it is our responsibility to help our partners and employees thrive in that landscape.

By considering inclusion, we perform better, increase innovation, and address important issues.  QCS is an Equal Opportunity Employer that welcomes partners, employees, contractors, and clients of all abilities and backgrounds.

Our Approach

QCS is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive workforce.  This requires us to be intentional.  Our efforts focus on 6 strategies.

We listen.

We reflect.

We learn.

We cannot change if we do not listen.  By listening to others’ feedback, experiences, and perspectives, we open ourselves to the possibility of change.
Inclusion is rooted in personal and shared identities.  By reflecting on how different identities interact with our own, we find common ground and opportunities to grow.
Knowledge drives creativity, problem-solving, and partnership.  By committing to continuous learning, we position ourselves to make a significant impact.

We extend grace.

We invest.

We take action.

Mistakes are part of growth and learning.  When we make mistakes, we admit it, extend grace, and seek to improve.
We cannot make systemic change without investment.  By making investments today, we new create opportunities and growth tomorrow.
Every action counts.  When opportunities to promote inclusion arise, we take them.  When they are scarce, we create them.

Our Goals

Accountability is a critical part of our efforts.  Over the next 5 years, QCS has set the following goals.
Goal #1- Systematically Promote Income Equality
Income inequality is a persistent problem across the workforce.  To address this issue, QCS will develop pricing and compensation paradigms that seek compensation equity for all employees and contractors.
Goal #2- Expand access for underserved communities
An important part of supporting communities is expanding access.  QCS will develop ways to offer discounts, cost sharing, and pro-bono services to organizations that invest in underserved communities.
