Project Specialist

Are you passionate about bringing projects and programs to life? Quest Cultural Solutions (QCS) is seeking a talented Project Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Project Specialist, you will support projects by coordinating communication, planning, and implementation on a range of projects and programs.  

QCS accepts applications for this position on an ongoing basis for part-time, full-time, and temporary positions.  All positions are 100% remote.

Position Responsibilities
  • Assist in project planning by creating schedules, coordinating meetings, and preparing for presentations or events
  • Coordinate activities, resources, and information to ensure smooth execution of duties, services, and projects
  • Monitor progress and track key performance indicators to ensure goals are met
  • Prepare status reports, update documentation, and communicate updates to stakeholders
  • Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Assist in risk management by identifying potential issues, proposing solutions, and addressing concerns
  • Support project managers in managing budgets, expenses, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate meetings, workshops, and presentations related to progress, duties, and updates
  • Maintain accurate files, records, database, and documentation for future reference
  • Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting process enhancements and best practices
  • Promote events and activities using different communication methods
  • Generate materials such as webpages, links, handouts, data sets, training materials, and manuals to facilitate training and delivery of services and products
  • Create environments that foster inclusivity and respect cultural difference
  • Work with volunteers, clients, team members, and stakeholders to support projects, activities, and events
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, project management, education, or a related field
  • Project management certification is a plus, but not required
  • Proven experience implementing projects or programs 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage project schedules and documentation
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail 
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools to track progress and manage tasks is a plus, but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address project-related challenges and propose solutions
  • Experience with and ability to conduct remote work and telecommuting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Suite for project documentation and reporting
  • Bilingual applicants are strongly encouraged to apply, particularly those with Spanish language skills (not required)
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident who resides in the United States

Reporting Lines 
  • The Project Specialist reports to the CEO and collaborates closely with other team members

Working Conditions, Schedule, & Hiring Requirements  
  • QCS hires for this position on a regular basis through this announcement.  Part-time, full-time, and temporary employee positions are often available.  
  • Travel may be required on a limited basis.  
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • QCS is a 100% remote work organization.  All candidates must be prepared to meet QCS Employee Requirements. The selected candidate will be subject to a background check and federal e-verify.
