Mentorship, Retention, & Career Pathways

Retention continues to be a hot topic in many industries.  Higher education, in particular, has struggled with persistent turnover.  According to CUPA-HR, sixty-seven of university employees are working more than full-time to support their institutions, and over 57% plan to seek new employment in this year.

In our most recent LinkedIn article, QCS highlighted 4 questions that all supervisors should ask to improve retention.  But supervisors aren't the only source of support.  Mentorship is a frequently overlooked pathway for improving retention.
