Twenty-three years. That’s how long I’ve been working in international education. International ed isn’t just a job or paycheck to me. My work is a calling, a vocation, and a labor of love, and I give 110% to my students every day.
But international education is changing. The pandemic was a turning point, and our work looks different today than it did before.
Regulations have skyrocketed.
Student needs increased.
Crisis management is never-ending.
And we’re tired.
I’m not talking about jet lag here. We can handle jet lag. What we’re experiencing is bigger than that. We are bone-deep, soul-weary exhausted, and the impact on our workforce is nothing short of catastrophic.
A record people have left the international education in the past 3 years, and we can’t fill the vacancies. Retention is at an all-time low and burnout is at an all-time high.
We have a workforce crisis, and we need immediate solutions.
That’s where Quest Cultural Solutions comes in.
This spring, I launched Question Cultural Solutions (QCS). QCS helps international educators meet increasing demands through innovative, customized support services. QCS is different. International education has built-in solutions for running programs, creating software, and recruiting students.
But we don’t have a mechanism for getting the day-to-day work done in our offices and organizations…and that’s exactly what QCS does.
QCS offers immediate relief to overburdened international educators. Our services include:
And we make it easy. There are no long-term commitments. We offer flexible options that meet a range of needs. All QCS team members have at least 3 years of professional experience in international education, and they are ready to help you weather the storm.
International education has changed...
and we need new ways to manage our new reality.
QCS helps you do just that.
